Tuesday 5th September- School term for 2017/2018 starts. Our doors open at 8.50am.
We had a fantastic transition week in our new classes. All the children were brilliant and enjoyed their time at school. Please click on the link below to read our newsletter for more information about transition week and about starting school in September.
In our unit we have a lot of adults who help us learn. Their names are: Mrs Nelson, Mrs Pickering, Mrs Newhall, Mrs Kilner, Mrs Baker, Mrs Barker, Miss Morrell, Mrs Prince and Mrs Rushforth.
Here's a few photographs of our indoor areas. These change and develop throughout the year depending on the children's interests.
Inside we have many different areas such as; water, sand, play dough, creative, writing, role play, funky fingers, construction and computers for you to explore. Please keep checking on here as we may make some changes in the summer holidays.
Our outdoor area has lots of things for you to do! We have a mud pit for making mud pies, a willow igloo and tunnel and also our den. You will be able to go on bug hunts, look after the plants and even use the bikes and scooters to travel around on.
Here are some photographs of our outdoor area.
At dinner time you will be given a coloured, wrist band and taken over to the dinner hall with your teacher. Then you will line up and wait for your dinner. There are lots of adults around so if you need help all you need to do is put your hand up.
After you have eaten your dinner you will then have playtime in our outdoor area.
During your time in foundation stage you will do lots of fun and exciting things. Take a look at the photographs below of some of the experiences the children have had.
