At Churchfield we use a House Points System to reward children. Every child is allocated a House based on colours and named after a planet, as chosen by our pupils. Pupils will stay in this house throughout their entire time at Churchfield, and all efforts are made to place siblings in the same house.
The House teams are as follows:
Saturn (Yellow), Jupiter (Aqua), Mercury (Orange), Venus (Pink), Earth (Green), Neptune (Blue)
We want to instil in our children the value of hard work and a drive to succeed. Pupils are awarded a House Point token for going above & beyond. This could be in their work, at a sporting event, an act of kindness or a community achievement. We also award House Point tokens to children who display any of our six core values: Passion, Self-Belief, Respect, Honesty, Determination and Teamwork. House Points are collected and totalled by our Y6 Captains every Friday lunch time and the House Points Cup league table updated every Monday in assembly.
At the end of the Autumn & Spring term, every member of the House in 1st place will be placed into a draw to win a £15 gift voucher (2 per phase), the house in 2nd place will be in with a chance of winning a £10 voucher (2 per phase) and then a £5 voucher for the House in 3rd. The same also happens at the end of the Spring term. At the end of the year, the house that finishes first will receive the House Points Cup, every member will receive a medal and certificate as well as being place into a draw for a gift voucher and a fantastic end of year trip!
Golden Tickets worth 5, 10 or 20 points will also be given out for various reasons (e.g attendance).
|Earth (Green)||1787 Points||2nd|
|Jupiter (Aqua)||1746 Points||4th|
|Mercury (Orange)||1801 Points||1st|
|Neptune (Blue)||1756 Points||3rd|
|Saturn (Yellow)||1685 Points||6th|
